We've had a nice day here today, but there's still lots of snow on our roof and in the yard.

The sun yesterday really helped our street...I can see sidewalks

We get the sun in the afternoon so it really melted it off our roof

50 here today and 46 tomorrow, then it's hunkering down time again. Monday and Tuesday's daytime highs are forecast to be well below freezing with nighttime lows of 6 (Sun.), 10 (Mon.) and 6 again Tues. I know I'm wishing my life away, but I can't wait for Spring.

Sunday is a alert day...we just got all the snow melted out front and on the roof and now calling for more snow

Very frustrating for sure. While not a fan of snow (or winter in general for that matter), I prefer snow, with warmer temps, to this Polar Vortex stuff we have coming in.

The front is blowing through here this week. First round threw my allergies for a loop. I don’t look forward to any of the winter precipitation. Impossible to get in or out of my neighborhood when that happens.

WDRB just put out a Winter Weather Advisory for us

Winter Weather Advisory for us as well. TWC is saying we could get from 2 to 4 inches.

We’re now under a winter storm warning in central Texas. An advisory in surrounding areas.

The next three days and nights are going to be brutal here as they will be everywhere that's affected by the Polar Vortex. It's currently eight here in Corbin.

6 here at our house in Jeffersontown. My cats are sleeping on floor vents. I have told them they need to share the heat!
