Was never a fan boy or comic reader but love the movies and can appreciate the universe they create. I don't know how their feud went down in the comics, but the movie seemed to not really want to delve into that. How can they both had not seen they were being played by Lex? Especially Batman, being he is the great detective. The last hour of the movie was really enjoyable though.

The comic that inspired the movie was a "What if" style story created by a writer who unabashedly hates Superman (and really any comic he didn't write). Batman's motivations in that comic at lest make sense and have nothing to do with the tin foil hat stuff driving the "worlds greatest detective" in SvB.

I am looking forward to Captain America Civil War.

Seeing Civil War tomorrow more than likely. Don't think I can manage a 10:10 showing tonight.

We've been posting up podcasts all this week in preparation for the moive, which you can check out on iTunes. Our latest podcast ranks all the MCU movies from worst to first.

Took my fan girl Daughter and her friend to see Civil War. This was an awesome movie. I felt it wasn't quite as good as Winter Soldier, but it did a great job at juggling a lot of characters and sub plots. Black Panther was a new character I liked. While the others played off each other's jokes, he was all business. Spiderman was another great chracter but he didn't ofdidn't have a lot of screen time. Of course this sets up the next movie, and you begin to wonder just how far this universe can go. With the money each movie rakes in it's obvious it's going as far as it can. This is fine by me as long as the movies continue to be this good.

Marvel Studio's is so impressive to me in how effective they are in translating their comic books to the silver screen.

Watched Civil War twice on Friday. Awesome movie from start to end credits scene. Marvel rocks. This one is in that top tier of great MCU movies, easily.

                  The Russo brothers "get" this.

I saw civil war and while there were moments I enjoyed I was not exactly bowled over. I have no idea why Hollywood feels as if all of these superhero flicks have to be two and a half hours long... I about fell asleep in the first hour. 2 1/2 / 4

Props to the kid who played Spider-Man, though. Made me excited to see his solo marvel movie.

Had been a while since I had watched this, so I decided to pop in I, Robot. Extremely entertaining and fun to watch. Will Smith is definitely on top of his sarcastic game in this one. I remember being blown away by it way back when, and I'm happy it stands up as time has gone by.

Doctor Strange looks intersting. And of course, we get GOTG Vol. 2 and Spider-Man Homecoming next year.

The Marvel train keeps rolling. As long as they keep these stories and characters interesting and fun, that's all I care about.

Can't wait to see Civil War again.

Saw Civil War. I thought it was engaging and fun.

They did a great job of putting a comic book on screen. The "Civil War" story line bares almost no resemblance to the comic book story and that is a good thing. Shrinking the scope of the story and what was at stake was a BIG improvement over the original and this story fits nicely into the movie world they have created.

My one quibble would be that even more than in the comic book Tony and Capt America seem like they should more logically be on reverse sides of the issue than how they are written in the story.

                            Some good fights...

I can buy Stark's positioning. He was essentially responsible for Ultron, which obviously led to the Sokovia incident. Just from that, I can see Stark shouldering the blame for all of the destruction/death/chaos, and seeing the Accords/Registration Act as a necessary step to keeping something like that from happening again.

Spotlight. Oscar Winner for Best Picture.

I liked it a lot. Pretty phenomenal performances all around. Not one of those to re-watch, but it was completely engrossing.
