I'm not sure it necessarily matters, because the movie pivoted on the murder of the son. But what was interesting in that whole thing was Tom Hardy's character's relationship to the 'Ree and why he was a violent racist in the first place.

His accent was fascinating and nearly impossible to peg down.

Since I am originally from Harlan County I understood it very well. He sounded a lot like many people I knew in the past.

I'm from Bell. Fitz sounded similar, but not identical to, a lot of neighbors. I get KC's point, though.

I didn't understand it necessarily but I've heard very similar to accents in McCreary County. I thought he did a good job with it and it sounded legitimate to me.

I can understand someone not understanding him very well. I couldn't understand about half the dialogue in The Witch. But I suspect hardly anyone understands that old English dialect very much now.

Can we all agree that Tom Hardy might be one of our best living actors? He's on a ridiculous roll at the moment.

Agreed. Impressive, too, is the simple fact that he's such a worker. Since Inception or a little bit before, the guy hasn't taken a moment to sit down.

Loved "Warrior." Underrated movie and his performance (along with Joel Egerton's) was excellent.

Saw Zootopia last night, and it's really an awesome movie. Everything about it clicks from start to finish. Disney is on a roll right now with the movies they're putting out and I'm happy to say this one is a must-see. Crowd atmosphere was great for it as well.

I agree. Had never seen this until a few weeks ago and loved it.

Can't wait to see this. The 2 previous Captain America films were really good, especially The Winter Soldier.

Saw 10 Cloverfield Lane last Friday and it was a terrific film. John Goodman is a force in this one. He plays the role of paranoid, creepy, tense, post-apocalyptic conspiracy theorist to a tee. Mary Elizabeth Winstead was awesome as well. Just a well-crafted movie, thats only knock is that once we leave the bunker, it becomes something different that's not necessarily good or bad, but just uneven from the rest of the film. 4/5.

10 Cloverfield Drive - Almost a perfect thriller for about 85% of it's runtime. Then it just becomes merely good. To give away any details would spoil it. Has almost nothing in common with it's namesake, the original "found footage" monster movie "Cloverfield." John Goodman is terrifying. Check this movie out, and like I said before, the less you know going in the better. 3/4.
