I am sure I am in the minority here, but James isn't even in my top 5 players of all time. Yes he is the scoring leader of the NBA, but the guy has played for 23 years. Can you imagine the points Jordan would have if he managed to play that many years? His antics on the court are what turn me off. He is a soft cry bay baby who would not have survived the NBA of old.

He has chosen to sign a 2 year deal with the 76ers. He is just chasing championships, the way he has his whole career. No loyalty whatsoever.

Barkley said much the same thing, i.e., LeBron has multiple times picked his own roster, pressured management to surround him with players he wanted, etc. I wouldn't go so far as to say he's NOT in the top 5 all-time, but I do believe an argument could be made. Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Bird and....Kareem, Wilt, Russell, Big O, West, Duncan, Dr J, and....LeBron, of course. I've always thought LBJ got a ton of no-calls when it came to barreling over defenders, traveling, carrying (all the pros do now). Plus, the constant whining about officiating which has, for years, protected him is just annoying.

He is, once again, joining a team that is poised to win without him. I will be interested to see if, like other teams he's been on, he dominates the ball and the other 4 on the court are stationed at the 3-point line standing still for the King to pass them the ball. LBJ has racked up amazing stats and won several rings. But, objectively, once he went to the Heat and afterwards, many players on the team had to significantly adjust (and not necessarily for an improvement) their game so that LBJ could dominate the ball. Magic was, by far imo, a better 'team' player who adjusted HIS game to enhance the other players'.
