Took one on the chin last night. Williamson just isn't ready for prime time yet. Can't wait for Lodolo and Greene to get back in the fold. It's obvious Williamson will be the odd man out when Lodolo returns (though he may be out with a shoulder injury as it is) but who will be on the chopping block when green returns? If Green returns mid-season, does Singer become trade bait?, especially if Petty is looking like he could step in if there's another injury

They placed Williamson on the 15 Day today. When Lodolo comes back (I think he has one more rehab start this week) I'd say whoever they called up goes down and then when Williamson's time on the IL is done he'll probably get sent down. Abbott stunk it up in the first inning today but has seemed to settle in since. Lowe has been awesome!

Pittsburgh knocked the ever loving snot out of them. Looks like Pittsburgh just has their number this season. The pirates have beaten them 5 of 6 and have outscored them 43-16. Sal Stewart is due a day off to get his head back on straight, he's slumped a bit here lately. Need a rebound against the Cubs. I want them playing better when I go see them against Houston Friday Night.

Tough week to be a Reds fan. Hopefully they are back on track and can take advantage of Washington this week.

been a rough few weeks. Not sure at this point what they can do to salvage things. The Bullpen is just downright awful after being lights out in April. Ironically this slide also started about the time Suarez went on the IL. At least Stewarts slump kinda coincided with that. Wondering if maybe him jumping around from position to position to cover for the Suarez absence has affected him mentally at the plate. Before that it was very consistent, wit him being the regular 1B. Only bright spots right now are EDLC having an MVP caliber year, Chase Burns, and Andrew Abbott's last few starts. Need Lodolo to shake off the rust and get back to his 2025 form. Bleday needs to play everyday. McClain showing some signs of coming around at the plate which is good, but Hayes and Friedl need to stay on the bench.
