The class is reminiscent of the one two years ago. A lot of these kids choosing strange destinations. Western Kentucky got the top-ranked center.

I know little about these guys but will learn. Can anyone give an example on who they resemble? Washington said Cal told him he was wanting to use him like Lyles.Comment

Richards is a raw, super-athletic defender. But bigger and stronger than most of those types of guys generally are. Would be tremendous if Kentucky could get Bamba--maybe the best player in the class who will make it to campus--and let Richards play behind him.
Washington is really skilled but much more explosive than Lyles. I think the only fear about him is that he might be a tweener. But Cal loves players he can move in and out to multiple positions. Wenyen Gabriel is the guy who fits that mold on this coming team.👍 1Comment

I'd rather have this guy than not have him at this point. 6'4" with a 6'10" wingspan??? Hopefully he can add 20 pounds of muscle before he gets here. I'm still not certain how many total we take in this class. Six seems like a no brainer, but seven seems a possibility depending who leaves in June. Humphries, Gabriel, Jones????????????Comment

I doubt Humphries is going anywhere. Too early to say with Gabriel and Jones, but they're talented and they play for Cal, so it's possible.I'd rather have this guy than not have him at this point. 6'4" with a 6'10" wingspan???
