He is really good. Makes Kansas a contender I think. They will have a very good team.

Something weird about Jackson's recruitment. I've doubted that he'll ever play in college, but if you go to a place like Kansas or Kentucky or Duke, they will do everything in their power to get you eligible.

But that was just a really strange few months for Jackson. The whole thing had an odd feel to it.

Per Twitter, as of four hours ago, Rivals.com is predicting Bolden to Duke and Allen to Texas.

And in strange Bolden news, apparently he's going to be a guest on an ESPNU signing day special tonight...but isn't going to make his decision.

Weird.

I would think it's a good thing, since it's generally accepted that he's a Duke lean.

The delay with Bolden could be that Duke wants him to wait a bit to let this Thornton thing die down.

Doesn't look good to take a player a day or two after another player has left in what appeared to be a bad situation. Suggests that player was thrown off to make space for the new guy.

Maybe so, but the player knows and he has already made it known that he doesn't want to take somebody's spot. I guess it will come down to which Coach sells him on that part the best.

I didn't hear this so can't confirm, but on the other board some guys are saying Matt Jones said today on the radio show that good news might be coming sometime today.

They seemed to think it's recruiting news, but it could be anything. Could be an official announcement from Briscoe or something.

Also, on that ESPNU show today, the three guests will be Giles, Tatum, and Bolden.

Um...

Not sure if ESPNU set that up intentionally or what, but that's kind of unusual that they'd all appear together when Bolden is undecided.
