I'm guessing UK just needs a slashing type forward or maybe a 2 guard to have a full class?

It wouldn't shock me to see us slow down unless it is Monk or Maker. We have a great class already, but we could potentially have a few extra guys come back next year. Matthews and Willis could/should be back, you never know about Ulis, and who knows about Briscoe and Lee. I think, and I know it is still early, the only two guys for sure gone are Skal and Murray. We might get a little deeper in the season to see how it plays out.Comment

Monk is probably the last piece. Think they feel like they have that 3 with Gabriel. Also Derek Willis will have to be in the mix...if he's not in the NBA. (Kidding. Sort of.)
It's way too early to get into the who's going/who's leaving thing, but the most interesting player on this team as far as NBA stock is Briscoe. I look at his size and his lack of a pure perimeter game and wonder if he'll be in the first round discussion...although he's going to have a big-time year.

Also guessing that UK and Duke have locked down the number 1 and 2 class for 2016. That would be two years in a row for one and two for those two schools. I think its almost inevitable that these two will play in the national championship game sometime in the next couple of seasons. It nearly happened last year.Kentucky fan since 1971.Comment

Bam kind of looks and reminds me of Dwight Howard, hope he plays like him. I think missing out on a few last year really ticked Coach Cal off. He is in assault mode already...........Comment

No way Cal slows down on Monk, he has and will be one of his top priorities, worry about who leaves after the fact. These kids by this point know that they have to come in here and work and if they don't they won't play. The kids that feel entitled to playing time go to other schools.Comment

Bam was a really pleasant surprise! No nail biting spring recruiting jitters this year! I know mix tapes are not truly telling but Bam's mix tape (at least the one I saw) depicts a grown man with an excellent skill set: passing, jump shot, rebounding and crazy dunks. Hard to describe how exciting this is for Cat fans!Comment
