Nothing recently. However, shouldn't be a surprise, UK thinks he is coming. I would be shocked if he didn't commit. I think you could see a commitment from him in the next week or so actually.

If it goes to the spring I would be concerned but I don't see that happening.

Fox says he will announcehis decision before 11/16. No date set.

I would be more then shocked if he doesn't pick UK

Via Twitter ESPN says UK is the leader for Fox, Malik Monk and Jarrett Allen. I assume if they landed all three of those guys that would make a good recruiting haul.

I'll admit today was the first time I'd ever heard Jarrett Allen's name.

If that's true, then that likely means the staff feels that they have no shot with Giles.

But on the bright side, if it's true, then we could get those three players in the fall and not have to sweat anything out next spring/summer. The class would be essentially done.

Monk has said numerous times he will most likely wait until the spring to make a decision, not sure about Allen.

I would say there is little chance we won't be sweating out a few spring decisions.

Giles coach thinks he is going to decide in the November period, thinks Duke is the front runner. I hope he does, then at least Cal can start going all out after Allen.

Giles says he thinks Monk and Fox are going to go to the same school, and said he has a good idea about where but he isn't saying. This could either be really good or really bad for us, Kansas is the only other team that is on both of their lists.

Once Tatum committed to Duke, I pretty much wrote off Giles. They just seem like too good of buddies, and rooming together all summer at basketball events.

I truly think it is between UK and Duke, but probably 98% chance its Duke, and 2% UK.

Ok Cal, go get Jarrett Allen.
