It also could be because there is a conflict of interest between him and his parents. He might want to go to UK, they want him to go to Duke apparently, but since a guardian has to sign the LOI they could be the ones delaying the decision at this point because they want to make sure they make the right one.

My blue tinted glasses are getting foggy. I think its all the waiting around. Hope this works out for UK but man it is rough trying to read between the lines/tweets/posts and such. Make a guy feel like he has the flu, i minute you feel OK the next you are feeling woosey.

All this makes sense to us, but we're waiting on a decision from an 18 year old kid who's getting calls from 2 schools daily. Who knows????

Bolden knows he can go to Duke at anytime. The obvious answer is he is waiting on a scholarship to open up at UK by either Lee leaving or maybe even Briscoe leaving now that Briscoe is getting all of these invites to workout. So Bolden waiting until the 25th of May is not a burden on anyone except the BBN. Looking at this through my blue tinted glasses, I think he comes to UK if the scholarship is available.

Sounds logical but who really knows what is going on inside. I hope he chooses our BIG BLUE.

So let's say that Bolden is waiting to see what Lee is going to do, Lee has to make a decision one way or the other by May 25th correct?

I can't imagine Bolden waiting that long, and Duke's team is pretty much set if I am not mistaken, so he knows what he's getting into there.

Three possibilities there I guess.

1. He's trolling UK fans.
2. He made a mistake and clicked the wrong team because Central Connecticut is the Blue Devils.

3. Their source sent a cryptic message to the Duke guys simply saying "Blue Devils," and he's trolling his source.

Per the other board there are some small quotes from Duke insiders where they seem to be pretty confident it's Kentucky.

Those same insiders are the guys who got the crystal ball to flip a week and a half ago. Now I would assume you'll see a rash of echo chamber kind of switching and we'll start all over again.

It could be something as simple as Bolden hedging and not making a decision. The prevailing wisdom might be that if he were going to Duke, he would've done it when Thornton transferred to open up the scholarship.

I've heard it from more than a few people that the Boldens didn't like the way the Thornton thing happened. When I first heard that I kind of scoffed, but then more people started to say it. It does make you wonder.

Cal easily could've gone to somebody (Wynyard or Mulder) and opened that scholarship. The fact that he didn't and let it play out may've been a message to Bolden's people.
