FWIW, my guess is Oregon. OTOH, if it makes anyone feel better, I'm usually wrong.

It's Oregon. Just got a text that unless something dramatic happens it will be Oregon.

About right with the way this crappy spring/summer has gone.

Actually, the way this recruiting season has gone, I expect something crazy, like New Mexico Central Michigan. But ya, probably will be Oregon.

And his new teammate at Oregon ruined his announcement.

Truly unbelievable how terrible this spring has been for Calipari. Couldn't have made up a worse chain of events for him and UK basketball.

Everything that's out there strongly points to Oregon.

Truly unbelievable. I thought without a doubt he would be a Cat....

Since there were 5 mins left in the Wisconsin game it has been disappointment after disappointment...

I expected it..There was already 4 or 5 Canadians on the team as is, so the whole Canada thing will end up being the overriding factor in his decision.

Right now UK's incoming class is a consensus top 3. If they don't land Murray it could fall out of the top 5!!! OH, THE HORROR!!!!! Come on, y'all. Get a grip. We still have an excellent incoming class. Besides, the old saw is true, "The sun don't shine on the same dog every day".

Our starting five will do fine. What concerns me is our bench.

It's not about the ranking, it's about the clear holes and lack of depth for next year. When you lose 7 guys and replace them with 4 it probably doesn't wrk out that great.

Plus, I am told that it's doubtful Poythress is fully ready until at least December.

That is a big concern to me.

I get the concerns. I really do. But think about it, had three left last year and four left this year, would there be so much angst? Plus, the cupboard isn't bare, it's just real thin. We all know what we have in Ulis. I've always liked what I've seen out of Lee. I believe he will blossom next year when called on to carry the load. It would be nice to have a full tilt Poythress ready to go in November, but he doesn't really become critical, in my estimation, until conference play. And then, there's Willis and Hawkins. Are they potential Epps and Pelfrey types or frauds? Some around here are likely to owe J Jennings an apology.....Or two. By now even I have become comfortable with starting freshmen. We have two of the best and two with potential. Truthfully, I hope we never have the kind of depth we had this year. Few players got the minutes they deserved and that will hurt them in the draft, and I believe, is the root cause of Cals recruiting woes this year. Plus, I believe the lack flow and continuity cost us a championship, but that's a whole other topic.

I get the concerns, just not all the hand wringing.
