That is like comparing Harrison to me at my job. He has never done my job, nor has he ever been recruited to do my job, so obviously I will be better than him.
That isn't exactly what I said. Athletically, Aaron is the the top quartile (probably 10%) of DI college players. There are literally thousands of DI players who can't do what he does.

If you think Aaron Harrison is in the top 10% of athletes in Division I then we just need to end this conversation and agree to disagree.

I said top quartile (25%); but ok. (DI basketball BTW)

10% means that he is among the most athletic 548 players in college basketball. Top quartile is 1371. Do you honestly think there are more than 1500 or so guys who could pull off the dunk I posted, be that coordinated or move that well at his size?

I would argue 90% of the 6'5 guards or wings in the power conferences could pull off that dunk

To paraphrase Arlo Guthrie, "...when Mulder, remember Mulder? This is a thread about Mulder." The guy's set to announce in about 10 minutes. Is there really anyone else in the running?

Well that's something good. At this point UK just needs some bodies to fill out a roster.

Congratulations to Mulder for picking Kentucky but don't expect me to get all warm and fuzy becaue we just added a juco player this season. We have two guys on the bench who have experience, know the system, know what's expected, and have practiced against pro's for two years.

Question Wildcatnation,,, from the outside looking in, who would you play if you was coaching???

We really cant play Mulder or Matthews because we already have Ulis and Briscoe to run point. I guess Hawkins is out as well. I guess Willis gets in by default.

Right now my starting lineup is Ulis, Briscoe, Matthews, Poythress, and Skal. I bring Hawkins, Mulder, and Lee off the bench to play 8.

Impossible to say because we don't know anything about Mulder. I doubt if any Kentucky fan has seen him play outside of YouTube clips.

Apparently he's a very good three-point shooter. I question why guys end up at junior colleges, but this player is a little different considering he came from Canada and maybe that influenced his academic situation.

But it's hard for me to imagine Mulder coming in and playing a major role on a good team. That's very rare with junior college players. Best-case scenario is that he's able to play a role as a guy who gives you some offense off the bench.

Brown or Murray are still the prizes, but it's really hard for me to believe Kentucky gets either of those guys at this point.

I am always very leery of JUCO guys...the success rate of them making an impact in college basketball is tiny. Maybe Mulder will be different but I will have to see it before I believe it.

Totally mind boggling you would pick a juco player over a guy that's been in the system for two years playing and competing against pros on a daily basis. I guess you are wondering why Cal even recruited Willis to come to Kentucky??? Kind of lets me know who I am dealing with here..........

If we are talking about 3 point shooting, Willis seems to shoot It pretty decent from the outside.

I know what your saying here and hopefully all guys can contribute especially if we get hit with a injury or two. If we lose a guy in the post due to injury this year, we are messed up for real......

Public Relations. I don't believe Cal really wanted him, but he knew the fanbase did. He had the schollie to burn, so..... Same for Hawkins.
