Would much rather Brown/Diallo/Murray come on to give us more of a margin for error.

Then you put all those guys together in practice and see if Hawkins or Willis can win playing time.
I am completely convinced that if you add some of the guys you mentioned, no matter how good Hawkins or Lee plays in practice, it will never translate into playing minutes as long as Cal has other highly recruited players on the team with a reputation to uphold...........

Sorry, just how I feel about it................................

If your Willis and Hawkins, you hope Cal misses so you get the opportunity.................

There's only one big left on the board unless a fifth-year transfer falls into our lap.

If we don't get Diallo there's going to have to be a whole lot of mixing and matching going on inside. Poythress and Willis will both have to spend a bunch of time at the 4.

I do think Skal is going to be one of those players who's so good that he's going to be difficult to ever take out of the game. Looks to be an immediate elite, game-changing type of player. Only the second #1 overall that Cal has brought to Kentucky.

I don't like Willis at the 4,, 2 and 3 but not in the paint, that's scary.. Poythree can play the 4 but we need another running mate for Lee.........

Would need to add some bulk, but has good size and would have to play that position as a stretch.

May not have much of a choice. I don't think it's going to end up that way, but if the unthinkable happens and Cal strikes out we're going to have to basically play people at unusual positions to patch some holes.

Without a doubt. Cal may have to pull a page out of Jay Wright's book........

Did the Wisconsin team that just beat our 10 McDonald's All Americans have 10 NBA guys on there roster?????? Was Farmer, Feldhaus, Pelphrey, Sheppard, Padgett, Spark, Epps, and a complete long list of other UK legends all world NBA talent??? Don't forget where we come from folks!!!!!!!! Of course you have to have a few game changers on the roster but must also have valuable role players that play wear that jersey with everything they have.

I am going to say this and I hope I get some negative comments. We need interior depth, we already have a combo pg/sg in Hawkins and a sg/sf in Willis.

Now fire away because I am ready to push this thread into the 30 page mark real quick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                Go for it.

Posted this in another thread. No need to worry, according to Matt Jones. In fact being giddy may be more appropriate. Matt accidentally sent out a tweet intended to be a DM for the second time this week....both times saying we get Murray. This one adds a little more detail. He says we get Murray, Mulder and either Diallo or Ebuka Izundu...

LOL Mat Jones does it again!! A tweet goes out which was meant to be a DM saying "He doesn't know...it will be Murray, Mulder and either Diallo or the Charlotte kid. Keeneland is Fri in clubhouse, Moore, Hubby, Brian etc."

(Charlotte kid meaning Ebuka Izundu, a 6-10 extremely athletic bug guy who was a former Charlotte commit. HS coach claims he has 7-4 wingspan, 43 inch vert and 3-point range.....if true, wow)

Matt seems to be pretty confident in that tweet/DM....

There's very little about Izundu that excites me. He's tall, he has long arms, and...? Of course his high school coach is going to say he's "extremely athletic," but I don't believe for one second that the kid is going to knock down three's or jump like Marcus Lee.

Probably just a last-ditch body that they can get into the program, use as a practice player, and hope they can build something for down the road.

He is a guy who's had major interest. Kansas was in to see him day before yesterday. So he's certainly rising. Hard to imagine a guy that unknown coming to a place like Kentucky and contributing right off the bat.

Didnt someone say he has a 43 inch vertical? I dont expect him to come in and make an impact, but if he is that tall and can jump that high, he should be able to spare Skal a few minutes here and there providing he can walk and chew gum at the same time.

Exactly, doesn't hurt my feelings at all if we can get this kid. Plus, you have to believe that he may be here for at least 3 years possibly.

I don't know much about this kid but I want him. Take a kid like this and develop him you never know. Could be one of those deals where he flew under the radar and may bring a lot more to the table than we think.......

                            Get it done Cal......................

It's getting to the point that we need any size that we can get.

Exactly, I think we can survive with our guards and forwards but the paint worries the crap out of me at this point. Hell, I would take Eloy Vargas at this stage of the game.....
