How can we not land a top tier big man? How in the world can we not land a top tier big man when we’ve literally had a slew of them, and, when healthy, 3 of the top 5 or so NBA big men went to UK. Cousins, Davis, KAT?

Worked so well with Zion and James Wiseman and others.

Zion isn't a big man, and Wiseman was ours until Memphis hired Penny. Many others have been paid for.

Seems like some believe R.J. Hampton may still be a possibility for UK next season.

I've always believed Hampton is a star. If Kentucky is actually in the mix for him he would make us better right away. Love his game and he has that killer mentality you see in big-time players.

Kentucky seemed like it was out of the running for a long time but who knows at this point. Not sure what this means for Juzang but if you can get Hampton, you get him.

Hampton isn’t coming to UK without a guarantee he’ll be the point guard. Not sure how that will work out.

“Kind of competition wise (Kentucky’s depth) is not a concern, but when you’ve got five guards for 40 minutes that is a concern,” Rod Hampton said. “Kentucky really preaches the best guy is going to play. When you’ve got five guys all of them are the best guy, so how do you decipher that? You go out and practice and you fight it out. That could be a blessing and a curse, but Cal finds a way to do it every year so that’s not something we shy away from.”

These kids see Penny as a ex NBA STAR and start sipping the Kool Aide, Penny hasn't proven anything and it's not easy to have 5 Allstar freshman and manage ego's, minutes, etc. If all these kids do end up at Memphis, they will win some games but i guarantee it just won't work......

And now Boogie Eillis wants out of his LOI at Duke, Memphis here we come. I would like to know what Penny Hardaway is telling these kids. Memphis plays in a cup cake league so record should be really good but when it explodes, i will be watching with my popcorn....

I'm sure he misspoke, but it's 5 guards for 80 mins, and probably more than that if you play 3 guards some.
