This makes life fun between games. Hope he is the surprise recruit for UK that turns out to be an amazing get. Hope we get him for next years class.

He's a big kid that uses his size at the New Zealand amateur level. He hasn't played professional like Enos did so it's not the same situation.

He's raw offensively tends to get into foul trouble. He'll probably end up as a Top 30 recruit. They 'll need a physical presence and he'll bring that. He's young and likely to be a 3-4yr player.

Fran Fraschilla said Tai could maybe work his way into a top 30 recruit if he stays in the 2016 class. If he goes to 2015 would be top 50-75ish

What are they saying the chances of reclassification are?

All i've seen is that he is still contemplating it, so i'm not sure if that means he is checking to see if he is eligible or not, or if he just doesn't know if he's ready to come play yet.

All I know is that if the staff wants him to reclassify to 2015, they must not have a good feeling about landing any other big men from that class, and there are some studs I was sure hoping he would get.

I would really think that if Lyles and Dakari are guaranteed first rounders they will both leave, along with WCS and Towns.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that the staff is urging Wynyard to reclassify. Everything reads as if its an option that he is interested in.

                I agree, Downes.

I doubt it makes any difference to the staff when he gets here. We'll need him both years.

He'll end up being a Dakari type for us. Their games looks similar, except it looks likeTai can hit that 12 footer pretty good.

The kid has said many times he knows he needs to work on aspects of his game, but the main reason he came to UK was because they told him he was going to have to work very hard to improve and he wanted to go to a school that would push him. I always like hearing that out of a young man because it tells me he's coming in here not expecting anything to be handed to him
and he's ready to go to work.

I take that ranking with a heavy grain of salt, since he wasn't even on those ranking sites until he signed with UK, but I hope he turns out to be even better than some expect.

And his parents are world champion wood choppers I think, that has to be a first for a UK recruit!

Hopefully young men will see Kentucky as the Navy seals of basketball

I could have used his parents back when I was having to chop wood for our wodstove furnace way back in the 80's. That's too hard!
