That was something trying to tell him "you better pick Kentucky!" I didn't really want him anyway. I'd rather have Jaylen Brown and Malik Newman. Briscoe and Newman in the backcourt would be fun to watch. They have us getting Calib Swanigan. I'm not big on him. Looks like Dakari version 2.0, maybe.

Having Dakari 2.0 wouldn't be that bad, especially since we would have Skal to compliment him.

1. That's easy to say after the fact.
2. Dakari's a great player. Still has work to do, but we're fortunate to have him and would be even more fortunate to get another one of him.

I genuinely didn't want Bragg due to the fact he doesn't fit our style of play. He gets frustrated easily and resorts to 16 foot jump shots that he can't knock down with any consistency. At least that's what the knock on him so far has been. Jaylen Brown is the best finisher in this class. Newman is a dynamic scorer up to this point, but he also seems to want to play a lot of me-me ball.

I just meant Swanigan doesn't appear to be a big time impact player like Brown and Newman could be for us. I like Dakari as a guy off the bench. You can tell he worked hard on his conditioning during the summer which you can really appreciate. I'm just saying if for example, Newman and Brown both go to Kansas we're going to need a little more than just Swanigan to be in the same conversation with them as one of the favorites next season if we end up losing quite a few guys to the draft.
