They collapse on us every time we go inside. They've contested almost every shot we've taken near the rim. Briscoe's the only one who's been able to operate inside.

How so? Teams combined for almost 100 in the first half. Some whistles but there was nothing ugly about that.

That's how basketball should be played. Kentucky is scoring. It can't guard.

I'm actually disappointed in our effort on defense and underneath.

Unfortunately we were awful.

We did exactly what you can't do against UCLA, which is help. That's why when we stopped that they started straight line driving us to the basket. Cal has implored them not to help. If you do that then you have to block some shots, something Kentucky hasn't done that much of this year.

Not sure what you're talking about. We turned it over maybe twice. Shooting it at about 45%.

Nothing wrong with that.

Our defense was terrible. So was our offense. We were just winging it and had no sync whatsoever. We seemed to have reverted back to the first few games of the season where we shoot and everybody runs down the floor. No banging for the loose balls. We got a lot of work to do in the 2nd half.
