I sat in Rupp Arena and watched Sam Houston St. kill the John Wall team with threes. I think they hit something like 15 of them. This was like two weeks after Miami (Ohio) did the same thing.

If that team cleared up its defensive problems, this team can. Especially after a week where a bug ripped through the players. And especially when it's still December 3rd.
I am just saying it from the point of it being just 2 or 3 loss season. They are going to take a few losses after what I saw yesterday. Defense on the three's, especially, just isn't good. I don't think Bam is the type player I expected. At times he shows good toughness but at other times he can be timid inside. He's probably going to get better and more consistent but its going to be a while. I didn't like what I saw in that they wilted when UCLA really came at them hard. The game being at home made me very concerned at how they are going to react when they have some true road games. I'm afraid this team will struggle mightily to win road games. It will still be a very good season. But they are going to lose a few games but still are more than capable of making a big run in March.
