I got the idea off another board I read but don't post on. Anyone interested in doing a mock draft of current NBA players? If we can get a handful of us interested, we can play the role of a GM and draft a roster and coach. Sound like fun?

How is this going to work??? Depends on if i am playing small ball or not lol lol lol lol. With today's NBA, players like Cousins, Andre Drummond, and even Dwight Howard are screwed lol lol lol , teams don't even want a post up center anymore. How does Draymond Green go from college point guard at Michigan State to NBA center??? Golden State has done what NBA 2k players have been doing for years, jacking up threes and trading two's for threes to teams who post up and score in the paint........

This all goes back to the NBA defensize rule changes the year after Rick Pitino was fired in Boston.

So there are six of us. I will do a random draw to get the order. Do you want to do a straight draw where whoever gets the first pick has the first pick in every round? Or do it like a fantasy draft where if you have first pick in round one you have the last pick in round two? We can do 11 rounds so we get ten players and one coach. Any other rules?

Not to complicate matters, but should there be a salary cap or something? With only six of us, we'll all have some version or another of a super team if we're allowed to grab whoever's available.

That's a great point. Not sure how we could set it up with a salary cap. Any ideas? We could just all have two teams to make it a 12 team draft instead of six.
