Well I thought over 70 in the game would go to UNC. I was wrong. I said in this thread early on 66 to 65 nova. Glad NOVA pulled it out. Happy for Jay and his Cats!!!!!!!!! Man see Rolli really brings back memories of 85 in Rupp. I was so happy for that team, just like tonight. I guess i am a little bit of a Nova fan. lol

Those guys in Lite Blue played hard and really had a chance. Cant take anything away from Carolina. No matter what the NCAA did not take the trophy away from UNC but a team from Philly sure did.

When i watch Marcus Paige in the postgame tearing up saying it is the last time he wears the jersey, how can that not get to you? Just like that a career at a school is over. Man, these guys go through a lot, a lot of pressure. Sort of puts things in perspective.

I read where a few people on here said that they didn't have any interest in watching this game....well, I'll say this....you missed one heck of a college basketball game! I love my UK Wildcats but that was a ballgame folks and I was glued to it from the tipoff. I was pulling hard for Villanova. I'm just kind of upset that I didn't DVR it.

Sounded like a great game. I have it on my DVR and try to watch later this week. Very similar type situation Villanova was in this year like in 1985. Almost everyone was rooting for them in 2016 and in 1985 nearly everyone was then. I was at Cumberland College in 1985 and watched that in a dorm with about 40 or 50 other guys. Everyone of them was rooting for Villanova that night. If the same played out last night I'm sure nearly everyone of them was rooting for Nova.
