What does the LSU game do to Skal's draft status?

Is this a significant move back up into the lottery?
    Opinions?

Consistency will be the thing to move him back to a lottery pick, but he improved his worth a bunch.

He sure has Lighthouse. Our bigs are improving and that makes us a tough out in the Big Dance.

A few more games like the last two and he's an easy top 10 pick. But if he reverts back in the tournament then he in the bottom end of the 1st round.

If there was any chance he was going to stay, I'm guessing that went out the window with this game. Simply put, he showed potential. He showed that he's got "it" in some form or another.

He's still a bit soft. I liked the agressiveness with the blocked shots today but a lot of his rebounds seem to come on long misses and he went to the right spot to get the ball. I still want to see him get in there and mix it up and not get pushed around but he is getting better. I hope he has a good showing in the SEC Tournament. We are coming together at the right time. Cal is a master at preparing his teams for the post season. I like what I see. Keep it up.

Skal is rebounding and going after loose balls. He ran one down in the corner that he would have stared at earlier in the season. He is blocking shots. He is making shots. The young man has been maligned this season, unjustly. He just took some time to get his game going. If he keeps performing through the tourney, the scouts will be drooling over him. The young man is playing with confidence and is being aggressive instead of hesitating.

He was already a top 20 selection, in most mock drafts. The way he's playing will only improve on that. I've felt all along he would go. Now I'm sure of it.

The way Cal is playing him now is a lot like he plays Willis.. while he isn't playing the stretch 4, he is hitting the elbow jumpers and being active.
The defender has to follow him... Opening up the floor for our guards. His best game as a wildcat!!

Agree with Lighthouse. Consistency is the key.

People pay attention to college basketball in March. So Skal can make up a lot of ground simply because the spotlight is on now--and by "a lot," I think he can slide up a few spots into the lottery.

I thought he was great yesterday. If we can get that player going forward we'll be tough to beat. He kind of did what Willis was doing for us, but he was adding the blocked shots. Very, very rare to have that kind of touch at his size. Now he needs to put some games together. Hopefully nine of them.

Skal and Willis on the front line with our guards is a scary efficient offensive squad...
The key now may be Briscoe not being an offensive liability....

With the NBA looking at potential, he may be a lottery pick. lol

DraftExpress has him at # 10. He was at # 19.

Must be something about Florida. Bledsoe cemented his place in that year's draft after his performance against UF.

On Matt Jones' show this morning, he said that an NBA scout attending the game Saturday told him directly: "If anybody thinks he (Skal) will slip under 20 in this draft, they're insane."
