He's not perfect, but, in my mind, this game closes the door on who should get the minutes between Skal and Isaak. A little slow of foot, but there's some fight, no fear of contact, and a desire to seek the ball on rebounds. my .02

What was I saying about Humpries (and Wynyard)???

Kid has to play. He could be even better by now if he was getting 5-10 per for the whole season.

Humphries is learning more right now then than he would in practice. He is not burning up the world but he is holding his own. He is rebounding 6, scoring 4 and 2 blocks. Plus he is putting out the effort.

Yes. He seems to provide a little toughness in there that no one else does. Will likely pick up a lot of fouls but that's no different than normal anyway.

In all fairness to Lee, that was a picky foul that should have been a no call.

Lee blocks out he doesn't pickup that 5th foul. Humphries has played with 3 fouls since the first half.

As an official does his reputation of fouling a lot make the call a little easier to be called?

Where is everyone?? Guess everyone has a busy Saturday. Interested to see what more folks think of today's game.....just figured this would be a hot thread with the importance of the game and the performances of Murray, Ulis, and Humpries....

I'm sure we'll have some late additions to this thread....

Hope x-ray goes well on Alex's knee tomorrow....

No, officials are trained to look for contact first and then look for who made the contact. On the foul in question, the officials body language looked like he anticipated the call, and then regretted blowing his whistle. Of course the honorable thing to do in that situation would be to go to both coaches and fess up.
