I think the majority of fans aren't in favor of this.... probably even fans of smaller schools or other outlier programs that only get in every blue moon or so. The tournament is already watered down too much as it is.
I'm probably in the minority on this, but I'd actually like to see the field of teams REDUCED! I wouldn't mind having the field cut in half and having a double elimination tournament. I know that would NEVER happen, because part of the appeal is the single elimination factor, but I feel like we'd have a more true and deserving champion if this was done.Comment

I don't really care much one way or the other. I'll watch some of those early games for sure, though. Why not?Comment

Look they want people parked in front of the tube watching games as long as possible. First weekend has the games. I watch the first 4 and I take off and watch games on Thursday-Sunday the first weekend. Now they will have games, all day Tuesday through Sunday. More eyes more $$$$$. What can you do. You will now see more teams like KY this last tourney playing on either Tuesday or Wednesday. Middling teams that can win a couple or lose game 1. Plus some smaller schools that will play balls to the walls to try to win a game. Not for it or against it. The NCAA wants that doughnut money.Proverbs 25:24Comment
