He would be the Denzel Aberdeen replacement, only he's not as good of a three point shooter as Denzel. Otherwise, his game is almost identical.

If he signs, I hope it's after we've secured a true Point Guard.... because like Denzel, he's more of a combo guard. If hate for him coming to distract someone like Wright for declaring for UK.

He's a different type player, He's listed as a Point Guard (even though he's really more of a Combo Guard) where as Collin was a Shooting Guard, yet he takes about twice as many shots and doesn't look to pass as much . Also, he isn't as good of a three point shooter as Denzel, let alone Collin. And lke Denzel, he tends to look for his shot more often than pass....but he can pass. He's just one of those guys that if he can dish the ball or shoot it, most likely he's going to take the shot.

On3 has him listed as a 100% UK projection, so it doesn't matter what I think. I'm more of a Robert Wright guy and think his game is superior overall, but if Pope knows he has no shot at Wright and Diallo is a pretty sure thing, them so be it. I guess I'll have to get used to calling the Point Guard on next year's team "Zoom" (LOL).

I don't see this as that big of a loss, especially since there's no guarantee that the NCAA will grant Aberdeen another year of eligibility, and it looks like he's going to land Diallo, who is pretty much an Aberdeen clone.

We need so many guards. Wright is not afraid of another guard signing. He knows he is PG1 where ever he goes with the exception of maybe Arkansas.

I think NEO is the perfect Matrix piece to Pope's offense. He is 6'9" and can play 1-4 when needed. Not sure about Brown will have to read up more on him.

So he has to get a waiver to play but sure. He was an unstoppable force at UK this year. He had some good games but do no act like he was great at any point of the year. He was out of place playing point. He did what he could. Do not see a reason to have a year 2. If he gets another year.
