Here is a link to the 247sports portal tracker. Stays up to date pretty well.

Jaland Lowe is currently listed as the 17th best player in the portal, but will drop as more players enter.

Great site to keep up with and will change about every hour on the hour over the next week or so. I am guessing we will see a few more with UK out to the right.

Thanks bthaunert — interesting site. FWIW, Lowe now listed as 6th available pg in the portal.

It's fun to go back to past years and see who the top guys were in the portal and how they turned out. Popes first portal class...Brandon Garrison was the highest ranked at 20th. Oweh at 31, Robinson at 33, Butler at 44, Carr at 67, Williams at 84, Brea at 87.

Brea and Williams were my favorites in that class. Here's hoping the staff find similar diamonds in the portal. I'd personally like to see the return of space and pace, passing from the five and some dead-eye shooting, love me some offense. I know, I know. It's a weakness. :-)

How much of a steal was Amari Williams?

Was he not the perfect fit for Pope’s system?

If Butler and Robinson stay healthy, I think that team makes it to the Final Four or at the very least the Elite Eight.

We were on track for a 1 or 2 seed, when the injuries started piling up. We beat two of the 1 seeds (Duke and Florida) before the wheels came off.

Pope looked like he knew what he was doing early on.

The 6'7 kid from BC sounds interesting, Stefan Vaaks. I've seen a little chatter about some mutual interest. Hope we get a visit.

Amari was the perfect big for Pope's offense. I know they had hoped that Garrison was going to be that guy, but he doesn't have that skill set. I think with some work, Moreno can be that guy.

Absolutely key to making that offense go. Hoping Moreno can develop into that passing big too.

I find it kind of humorous that for the last couple of months, there has been great moaning and gnashing of teeth and bashing of Pope online (not necessarily saying there was a ton on this site) about the lack of recruits committed for 2026. Suddenly, the online masses are salivating over every kid that puts his name in the portal.

It would be nice if people could learn and remember.

By the way, thanks for sharing this. I've always used ON3 in the past, so it's nice to have another option which may actually turn out to be better than what I've used previously.

Here's a link to the ON3 college basketball transfer portal website in case anyone is unfamiliar with it or is interested:

Are the portal kids not pretty important if you don’t get the high school kids? We will have players leave and not likely just Oweh, Aberdeen and Lowe. I understand you’re saying the portal is where you add players now, not high school but I don’t understand how that makes desiring the transfers humorous.

Don't disagree with you at all. But, isn't a big man with really good ball handling and passing skills still pretty rare? And, Pope's offense is dependent on having one (or, presumably, two) on the UK roster all the time? We've seen how ineffective that system seems to be with Garrison - who is not totally without skills, just not A Williams - attempting to run it. One would think that relying on a skillset that is difficult to find year after year would be a risky long-term strategy. I truly like the basic concepts of Pope's offense, but if it needs a Jokic or Magic to run it effectively, we're gonna see a lot more 10-loss seasons, I'm afraid.
