Aaron Torres only mentioned UK having 4 guys committed for next year, didn't mention Hawthorne or Potter. Those two are confirmed to be coming back, aren't they?

Kam Williams, Trent Noah, Braydon Hawthorne and Reese Potter have announced that they are 100% returning. Malachi Moreno has announced that if/when he returns, it will definitely be with Kentucky. Mason Williams is an incoming 4 Star Point Guard who has committed to UK.

That's six (including Moreno). Both of the past two seasons Pope has carried a minimum of 13 players, so that would leave 7 portal transfers/incoming freshmen that he likely will be adding . If Stokes commits to UK, my guess is he will be the only additional freshman with the other 6 or so being portal transfers. If he goes elsewhere, all 7 will likely be portal transfers.

    Completely agree.

I was getting ready to post the exact same thing as the last two posts. I have yet to read where anyone in a position to know has publicly verified any amount spent on either an individual or a team.

Slot of these numbers are being put out there by agents for a bunch of different reasons, none of them good.

It would get leaked anyway. and most all of the numbers we hear are mainly rumors. The universities can keep it all secret as much as they want, but agents and the people surrounding the athlete will leak the info, whether true or not. Sometimes in an attempt for somebody to make a better offer.

They are all made up figures anyway. Coaches and others in the know keep saying that, yet the talking heads on social media keep making up figures and people run with them. The worst part is the fake outrage over fantasy numbers.

I would love to get those four and maybe JQ comes back. We would be in really good shape with those guys.

    G Wright/M. Williams
    G Diallo/Noah
    F Stokes/Hawthorne
    F Freeman/K. Williams
    C Moreno/Quaintance/Potter

Great starting 5. Thats a Big 12 starter, Big 10 starter, ACC starter, and SEC starter all around the consensus #1 recruit in the country.

Solid bench if JQ is healthy. JQ and KW have P5 experience. Hawthorne and Mason Williams have serious potential.

Maybe add a couple more backup guards.
That SG position isn't ideal to me. If Noah was listed third at SG, second or third at SF with a Combo Guard listed as the primary backup 2 guard id feel a lot better about it.
