Of course,the chances of winning a national championship WITHOUT any stars isn't very likely, so......

If he lands 4 of the top portal transfers and has another year like this year, the new AD may have his mind made up without Pope having a chance to win him over.

Speaking of which....we haven't heard anything about the new AD. Anybody have any news, rumors, innuendo, etc. regarding that?

Stokes KY offer is supposedly in the 7-8 million range. If they land Stokes and can’t field enough around him to compete next year it’s going to get rowdy in Lex.

I really, seriously and strongly think it would be in the University of Kentucky's best interest if the dollar amounts of any and all contracts remain private and in-house. There's no need for this kind of information to be out there in the public. What the kids earn, they earn, but I think it would be best for it not to be advertised for rival fan bases and the college basketball player universe to know about.

I would love to get those four and maybe JQ comes back. We would be in really good shape with those guys.

Great starting 5. Thats a Big 12 starter, Big 10 starter, ACC starter, and SEC starter all around the consensus #1 recruit in the country.

Solid bench if JQ is healthy. JQ and KW have P5 experience. Hawthorne and Mason Williams have serious potential.

Maybe add a couple more backup guards.

That SG position isn't ideal to me. If Noah was listed third at SG, second or third at SF with a Combo Guard listed as the primary backup 2 guard id feel a lot better about it.
