I think I'm the only one in this forum that cares about or likes to see video highlights of players that are mentioned as possibilities.....but just in case there may be someone else lurking out there that would be interested in seeing this guy, here ya go;

That is why I posted the link. A sea of blue has highlights on that link.
That wasn't criticism of you, I appreciate you posting the link and bringing it to everyone's attention. I was just using your post to piggyback off of to post video of this guy in question
Pope signed the back up Center and now is looking at the Russian. I wonder if he is just trying to not get caught with his pants down again or if he already knows what the decision will be on Moreno.
Hope we see Moreno 1 more year and if need be get Ruzic or the Russian as another piece with Momcilovic.
The chances of finding a suitable replacement for Moreno (I.e. an impactful big man) is slim and none at this point.
If Moreno leaves, he has unintentionally messed us over by testing the waters with the intention of returning.
We would have been much better off he would have just announced he was leaving all together. Then we could have prioritized getting a starting big man.
Can’t blame the kid if he leaves, but he has really left us hanging all the same.
If Malachi Moreno AND Milan Momcilovic BOTH end up at Kentucky next year.... somebody needs to contact Mars, Incorporated and get them to sponsor some of UK's NIL for the upcoming season. That could turn into one heckuva advertising/promotional boondoggle for M&M's. I could just see large cardboard cutouts of the M&M Spokescandies" characters throughout Rupp at home games. Somebody with some pull needs to get the word out.....
With both, we are looking at a potential top four finish in the SEC, and a Sweet Sixteen squad with the chance to go further with the right draw/a little luck, IMHO.
With just one and we are looking at a middle of the road SEC team, and a Sweet Sixteen ceiling, most likely an early exit, IMHO.
If we strike out with both, we probably finish in the bottom half of the SEC, and barely make the tourney (thanks to expansion), IMHO.
My guess at the rotation with Momcilovic and Moreno:
G Diallo
G Wilkins
G K. Williams
F Momcilovic
C Moreno
6 McBride
7 B. Hawthorne
8 Kepnang
9 Morton
10 N’Diaye
With just Moreno:
G Diallo
G Wilkins
G K. Williams
F McBride
C Moreno
6 B. Hawthorne
7 Morton
8 Kepnang
9 N’Diaye
10 M. Williams
With just Momcilovic:
G Diallo
G Wilkins
G K. Williams
F Momcilovic
C Kepnang
6 McBride
7 B. Hawthorne
8 N’Diaye
9 Morton
10 Potter
With neither:
G Diallo
G Wilkins
G K. Williams
F McBride
C Kepnang
6 B. Hawthorne
7 N’Diaye
8 Morton
9 Potter
10 M. Williams
As you guys can see, I am not too optimistic about N’Diaye. I do not trust international guys. I hope I am wrong and he is a beast, but I just don’t trust him.
If we lose Moreno, I could see Pope having to go 5 out and play small with McBride at the 5. Kepnang is not going to be anything special in the post, so the best strategy offensively might be to stretch the floor and launch 3’s. This works much better with Momcilovic.
I really like the team offensively with both guys on the roster. Should be able to put points on the board with two guards that can put it on the floor and get to the rim to score or find the shooters. Our forwards should really be able to shoot. Mom is the best shooter in college, Kam is nearly a 40% shooter for his career. McBride shot 40% from 3 last season and Hawthorne is suppose to be a good shooter. If Moreno can develop into a reliable low post scorer, we are really cooking.
So, unless we somehow land Momcilovic, we are looking at this starting five most likely:
G Diallo
G Wilkins
G K. Williams
F McBride
C Moreno
Solid backcourt, 3 and D player at the 3, a good stretch 4, and a possible lottery pick inside.
We have a pretty decent bench. Morton and Kepnang are former regular D1 starters. N’Diaye has international experience. Hawthorne and Mason Williams are 4-star recruits. Should be a solid 8-9 deep rotation.
Really hope we land Momcilovic. We need a potential superstar/go to guy to lead the way.

Absolutely! I had big hopes for Kobe Brea in his lone season here. Just love a dead eye shooter. But he came in having never been a starter and it showed that he just didn’t have it in his DNA to be THE GUY. Momcilovic on the other hand isn’t just a skilled marksman—he had the most made 3’s in the land last year. He’s literally ready to take it every time it’s open. Which is the way Pope wants to play. AND he’s 3 inches taller than Brea. He could basically give us a season like Dalton Knecht gave Tennessee.
Now maybe that’s an a bit of an exaggeration for a guy the NBA doesn’t really want yet. Perhaps he’d be the weakest defender on the floor for us whenever he’s in. But if he comes in with a massive paycheck I think he’ll be ready to prove his value on the offensive end. Just saying—I’d like to see what he can do.
Biggest change we need compared to Pope’s first 2 years is a HEALTHY team. Then we would actually get a feel for Pope’s system and abilities. Might even go into the season feeling like we could compete with the dirty birds and other (expected) upper echelon teams. Fingers crossed.
Now that Malachi is in the fold, I guess we can turn our undivided attention to Mom. I'd say it about 55-45 that he ends up at UK. First, he has to withdraw from the draft and then we face stiff competition from UofL and St. John's.
