It started with Tubby. Billy G continued it. Cal the last 5 years was bad. Pope his 1st 2 years.

It'd be nice to think that next year will be any different, but as of now there's really no reason to think so

I'm hopeful. All I know to do is hope. No control. If next year is like this......you have to think changes will happen....I prefer Pope turn things around

You realize the main reason for so many 10 loss seasons in the past 30 some years is they play a lot more regular season games now than they did. 31 game regular season has been in place for a while but it used to be far less than 31. Less games way less chance of 10 plus losses.

Also in recent years the SEC has became a top 3 conference annually. Once upon a time not all that long ago the SEC was a joke in basketball. A few years only Kentucky and one other team made the tournament. I realize in my time of watching it has gone from 10 to 12 to 14 to now a 16 team league. So naturally more teams more chances of teams making the tournament. But even in the days of a 14 team SEC many years they were lucky to get 3-4 teams in the tournament.

More game much tougher conference is going to equal more regular season losses. Even in the good years.
