The dominant group of coworkers I had were Purdue grads. We get along great because of our dislike for red candy stripes. Game is meaningless but not completely. I mean bragging rights even in an exhibition.

Still can’t decide on whether to go or sell my tickets. It’d be a good price for such a early game (usually can’t give away exhibitions), but it also would be great to go to a game in great weather and hype environment.

Hard to believe that we'll get our first look of these Cats vs real competition on Friday. I would guess Lowe doesn't play and Oweh will probably be limited. I don't put much stock in the outcome of exhibition games, but I will be looking at our ball movement, outside shooting, and overall defense. Should be a good test before the season and will show the staff areas that need some work.

I’m most interested to see our bigs play as I think that’s our biggest liability this season, with the looming question mark of JQ. And Purdue has two of the best bigs in the country in Kaufman-Renn and Cluff.
