Oweh picked preseason SEC POY

If Oweh ends up the SEC POY, I don't see us coming in 2nd

I think with this team and so many options he will probably average less, play less and be a better version of himself. We could have 7 or so be at 9 or more ppg. We could have 2 guys every game in double digit rebounds.

Oh, yes.... you're a HUGE Otega Oweh fan. I mean, it's not like posts in this forum are written in a way that only I can see them.

BUT....some people may not read every post in every thread. So for those that don't, here's a recap. Thankfully copy and paste works really well.

Since SG is shooting guard and Oweh can’t shoot I just can’t see how he plays there.

I think he’s in a reduced role this season.

He’s undersized at the 3

I don’t know if Oweh can pass or not. He’s an unwilling passer.

He’s not a good ball handler either.

AND

OK, he can shoot.

The problem is making them. He doesn’t make shots. He doesn’t even make lay ups.

If he doesn’t dunk it he misses.

He misses at least one dunk a game.

AND

I’m not sure waft Oweh’s role will be this season.

But if he’s our goto player this season I’m afraid it look just like last year.

I watch the players play. Oweh can’t shoot.

If Oweh had a shot he would be in the NBA now. Or maybe if he other skills?

He can’t play the point. He could mitigate his poor shooting if he had point guard skills.

You can play with numbers and analytics all you want. They don’t tell the story.

I had no idea what Oweh’s free throw percentage was. But I knew from watching he was a good free throw shooter.

I also know from watching that he is not a good shooter.
