This is a good board with a lot of good people.

My opinion. There were some drama queens who thought they were special. Those drama queens decided that since no one would take their drama seriously and validate their feelings, they would step away and, THEN, take on a surrogate to take up their cause instead of having the intestinal fortitude to actually be a human being and discuss the issue.

State your case. Openly. Don't hide out in closed forums that you create to whine about this and that.

Either you're right or you're wrong.

Then we had a couple of people who stepped away because they didn't like the drama of the drama queens being called out on their drama.

All I can say is that KENTUCKY BASKETBALL is bigger than me, you, and all of them lol lol lol..

I don't know the in's and out's of what was going on behind the scenes, really none of my business. In fact, I do well just to keep up with my own business here on a day to day across the state of Kentucky.

With that being said. A blind man could have seen that we all the new posters here and back on board, that one way opinion get on board or walk the plank stuff wasn't going to fly anymore.

Anyways, I hope all can find peace and come together for the love of Kentucky basketball.....

Kind of funny how every place has their own drama. Rafters was filled with it and seems this place had some of its own. Oh well, BBN really needs that orange ball to get tipped off to get back in the groove.

I've been on this forum for over a decade and it sure did seem to change when to crossover occurred. Unless people have changed their names or something but Will Lavender was one of the daily posters that have seemed to disappear.

I remember Will Lavender from the BCG years, and he was still posting under that name up until RR had their little mess that caused a lot of folks to migrate over here earlier this year. I can't believe he would just "disappear", and there hasn't been any notice or indication of his death or demise like there was with Lighthouse....so I've got to believe that he's now posting under another username.

Last I saw, Matt Colvin had changed his username to DA#23....but still had "Matt Colvin" as a subheading under it. I sent him a PM about a week ago but never heard back.

Will Lavender changed to Joneslab but I only saw a couple posts under that username before he went AWOL. If he doesn’t show back up when basketball starts I will truly miss his insight. I do not just “ball watch” when I watch games. I try to see off ball movement and play development and such but Will always sees more than I pick up on. He’d probably make a good coach.

Also his “Good Bad and Ugly” write ups after big games were a highlight of this site. He is an author and is really well spoken as well.

Exactly, that’s why I loved this forum was because of posters that actually knew the game and discussed it in that manner. Nothing against RR but it always just seemed like people losing their minds about everything that didn’t go our way.

And I always looked forward to Will’s good, bad and ugly posts too.

Will Lavender is one of the cornerstones of WCN in my mind. I remember when he used to be Joneslab back in 2004-2005 timeframe, and when he changed to using his name as his handle on here. His reasoning was that many people "hide" behind keyboards and type things that they'd never actually say in person to someone's face. He was attempting/leading in being civil and was a great lesson to me in humanity. I noticed when he changed back to Joneslab a couple months ago, and have noticed that he doesn't post anymore.

He definitely is one who had some of the best, most reasonable insights, as well articulating opinions extraordinarily well. I truly hope he shows back up sooner than later.

And yes, his Good, Bad, and Ugly write ups are always well worth reading. Even if one of my posts showed up in one of them after an embarrassing faux pas.

That makes sense because when I looked back in old posts from March he wasn't there either, but noticed a bunch of posts from Joneslab so I guess when you change your profile name it changes it on previous posts as well.

Well, hopefully the old crew comes back around when season starts.

JONESLAB, huh? Wow....I had numerous interactions, bantering back and forth with JONESLAB....as recently as a few weeks ago, about the time that Matt Colvin became DA#23 and then took a hiatus.

I've got to think....as active as they both were for well over a decade (or two!) in this forum....that they're just taking some time off. I can't believe they'd both just "disappear". Those two could be guaranteed to carry on, even during down times...which does make their absence pretty interesting. Hopefully they're just on vacation.....
