I definitely blame James Harden’s forcing the defensive foul every bit as much as LeBron’s complaining for ruining basketball. But honestly—wouldn’t the officials calling the game the way Naismith intended keep any of them from ruining it? I understand the game is more difficult to call with the bigger stronger faster athletes. But an offensive player should not be able to initiate contact and get the defensive foul every single time over and over!
We have the same feelings about LeBron. Great player no doubt. Would like to have seen how he stacked up against the NBA I grew up with. I still say Larry Bird is the best SF in NBA history and nothing will change my mind.
Since COVID and until Pope, I'd bet the majority have been DISAPPOINTED that "our coach (Cal) hasn't left for the NBA". I'd bet the majority probably were hoping that the coach (Cal) would have left for an NBA job.
Yeah, I knew the poster wasn't referring to talk about the coach leaving for the NBA. Anyone who has paid attention the last 15 years should know that Kentucky fans have Kentucky pride and an a interest in the Kentucky program, and how the current Kentucky team is going to do the upcoming season....NOT how this former one and done player that's been gone for the last 8 years and is now in the NBA is doing, or how he just signed with this NBA team or won this NBA league award. Those things should be side notes, not headline features. Under Cal, unfortunately, they had become just that.... and I'm sure that is what the OP meant.
