I have always liked this idea. Especially when the SEC was football-only, we needed another top caliber team. I wanted UL and would have considered Duke. If the SEC could maintain something close to last year's success, we wouldn't need the Cheats..

I like it. UNC is a good market. Football is similar to UK. UK playing them twice a year in basketball would be nice. I like the move if it actually happens.

ACC is a sinking ship. It might try and survive like the P12, but eventually the good teams will get picked up by the SEC and B10.

FSU would make more sense to me, potential UF vs FSU conference rivalry has more juice
than Clemson vs South Carolina.

Miami would give you a new market. Va Tech would also or Virginia. Clemson and FSU gives no new market and this is for $$$ after all.

I would say UNC, Va Tech, Miami and Virginia (might be too close to the same market with Va Tech).

I used to think UK should move to the ACC. It would have made sense at the time for both basketball and football, but the ACC has fallen so far in basketball that it doesn't anymore.

Now UNC moving to the SEC might help UK in football.

Virginia would be the SEC’s first choice, I think.

While their football program is not elite by any stretch of the imagination, the school fits in geographically and is the kind of school the SEC would like to add. It’s the flagship school of a huge state. It’s highly rated academically.

If the SEC doesn’t get them, they will most likely end up in the Big Ten. Heck, they may prefer the Big Ten. In some ways they fit in better with the Big Ten. Academically, for sure.

FSU and Clemson does nothing for the conference really. The SEC already has those markets.

I don’t see any other schools that really fit in to the SEC’s plans.

I mean, I'm not opposed in principle. The conferences are just too damn big already. I don't want any of this. I didn't want Texas and Oklahoma. I didn't want A&M and Missouri.

Those two would make sense, maybe add in Va Tech. Not sure if NC State would be considered with unc. UVA seems like a fit for the B10.
