My favorite Miller moment was the home game against Ole Miss, which came at a time when he was having a pretty good season but still had some folks who questioned his tenacity. I can’t remember the specifics, but he broke away for a nasty dunk and nearly killed the defender. When Miller landed he turned to the bench, and with a vicious expression I’d never seen from him, he shouted something and pointed to his chest, which loosely translated to “SHOW ME SOME RESPECT.”

Miller became one of the better inside/outside players we've had in recent years. Not only was he a lethal outside shooter (surprising, because when he came to UK I thought his shot looked like a rocket; barely got over the lip of the time), but you could put him in the post and he'd just abuse people. Unbelievably skilled offensive player.

Living in Lexington during that time was so damn fun.

Okay so I made up the chest point. Everything else was as I remembered.

I think there was a finger point but it was a few seconds later after that clip had stopped. Seems like he was pumped for a few more seconds on that dunk.

I believe that was directed at Cal. Darius said he and Cal had been getting into it on the bench up to that point, and his frustration exploded in that filthy dunk.

Still love that picture of him as a little kid at the UK camp.

It is always nice to have a home grown talent on the squad. It just means more to Kentucky kids and having someone like Miller on the roster helps to rub that same mindset off on the other players.

All eight titles had KY kids playing a huge role, and prior to ‘12 each had at least one starter hailing from Kentucky.

Love me some Darius Miller, man. He was a Swiss Army knife out there.

And I love that interview. He talks about wanting to give to help out UK players like Delk and Padgett helped him. And I love that he clarifies that he’ll always be Kentucky blue, never Arkansas red 😁

Miller didn't get his due till right at the last. The snide Disapearious Miller was all over the board. His last month and his tourneys got him an NBA deal.
