Darius was one of those for me that when he shot, I thought every one of them was going in. Lamb the same.

Cal was really good when he wasn’t a social worker. That Cal got guys to do things like that.

Cal had no problem fighting with his guys in the huddle. There were the obvious examples like when he called Terrance Jones a "selfish MF," but I was lucky enough to sit a couple rows behind the UK bench his first year, and you wouldn't believe the things Cal and Boogie Cousins were saying to each other.

That was the first time I'd heard anything like that between coach and player, but when I saw how hard Cousins played out of that time out, I never questioned it going forward

But holy geez: I didn't know the F word could be yelled so many times in so many different ways in the span of a TV timeout. It was also the first time I'd ever heard a fifth year old white man referred to as a certain racial epithet.

The first third if Caliparis run was amazing. Total box. Defense, finding offense that clicked, players...just an amazing run.
the 2nd third had spots of great ball, others that were getting ragged.
The third part was a gradual slide downhill.
Of course we think about the last year's.
            He stayed too long.
That first part of his tenure though...unbelievable.
