My point is always thinking that draft picks and top talent are important, and sometimes it is, but sometimes it isn't. Duke proved that having top tier talent can get you on the brink of winning a championship, but when you look at the rest of the final four, only one other player was a first rounder(Clayton) and in the championship game one of the teams(which knocked off the Duke team full of NBA talent) had zero draft picks.

Just reiterates the juggling acts programs have to do now to produce good teams and it isn't just draft picks, but old guys that develop and turn into great college players that will possibly never sniff a minute of playing time in the NBA.
The portal thing and NIL have absolutely diluted the importance of draft picks, particularly younger draft picks.

The best thing to have now is basically guys who CAN get drafted and are sort of in that borderline of the second round...and then they come back. Then you pair those guys with what you've got incoming, and that's how you build a championship contender.

Which is what Pope has just done, it looks like.

The Ace Bailey draft debacle is a perfect indication of why Rutgers' season went off the rails.

Step 2–buy in and work hard
Step 3–stay healthy! (Or at least be healthy by March)

He is a total loser. I don't know why Ainge thought this was a good idea. Unless he is just happy letting him not play. (They don't pay him if he sits out or doesn't sign correct?)

Nothing pisses me off more than hearing 19 year old millionaires complain about being drafted in the lottery to a team they don't want to go to. You are living the life that .00001% of population get to live so why don't you be a little grateful you punk, because you haven't proven anything yet.

It will be awesome seeing both Booker and Brea light it up from beyond the arc together in Phoenix.

Boston dumped a center today. Amari may come in and play a lot

I swear I loved his game and think he could play there. The only thing obviously are those super raw offensive skills in terms of scoring. But arguably the best passer and ballhandler we’ve had here at center in many years.

Jaxson Robinson signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Cavs.
Robinson played for four college teams. He'll now join the Cavaliers on a training camp contract.

I love that team, I hope they all find a home and play for years to come. Brea really has a chance to play a long time. I think J Rob could if he ever becomes more aggressive. Amari if he ever develops touch will be a solid big man. He’s got unique skills.

Celtics needed to shed a lot of salary which they already have but he has a chance with them probably semi tanking with the Tatum injury to get some PT. Super cheap decent upside contract for them.

He skipped workouts for all the top 5 hoping to go to Washington for PT.
