    Another opportunity to watch the Cats throughout the season. I love it. Kentucky Basketball is the best time of year for me.

        Sort of silly to add 1 more game. If you are going to add go from 31 regular season games to 35 or something like that. 35 plus conf tourney and ncaa tourney would get teams to 44 to 46 games a year in total. Pope wanting 40 reg season seems a little much to me but not by a ton. If we have 40 games and 9 to 11 post season games between conf and NCAA tourneys you are now in the 50s for total games. 35 seems about right to me, gives extra chances for marquee matchups. Imagine a year where in the preseason or OOC games where we see UK play, Louisville, Indiana, Duke, UNC, Mich St, Gonzaga, Houston, Kansas, Notre Dame and such along with say EKU, WKU, NKU and then some other mid majors. Would be a full year of BBALL.
