Dude, glad you brought that up. I was actually just about to post about the group the VERVE. Symphony is the what most remember that group by but the song "Lucky Man" is pretty awesome to me. Listening to it right now

It’s kind of nostalgic for me.

If I’m remembering correctly they started using that during the 2005 season, so in the midst of Tubby’s very good three year run and entering the season with the number one recruiting class. Hayes’ senior season. Sparks joining the fold.

A lot of things changed for me in that year, and hearing that mix along with the video of former greats being played on Big Bertha in a packed out Rupp Arena was a welcome experience.

      Time flies by

I agree but also feel that the industry just swallows them up and the EGO's take over, hard to keep everyone on the same page.

Still, to follow up a hit album is a very tall task, living up and exceeding those expectations is major.

First of all, I am a nobody but my son is always advising me "Dad forget about all that old stuff" and Im like "old to who" nobody ever heard it lol lol. I call it closest jams, stuff made way back when and tossed in the closet. Now that I have evolved from a engineering ( I committed and put it in the work to get better, still learning) stand point and understand the science of the puzzle, I feel like a kid in a candy store revitalizing old music and actually producing it to a sound that was meant to be when it was originally created.

For years I would tell myself, "If i just had that software or hardware", it's a wrap.

Truth is, had all i needed the whole time, just didn't take the time to learn. But again, most artist create and move on and let the engineers and studios take care of the rest, independent artist have to wear every hat lol lol lol...

Meanwhile on a sidenote, I have been working in the background and searching for my KENTUCKY THEME SONG every since I logged on this morning and still haven't found it lol. Been through at least 40 and lots more to go.

When i find it i am going to re produce and mix it down and it's going to sound awesome lol lol.

So far, another day with nothing getting done or accomplished lol lol lol...

Does anyone ever know what happened to TOMMY who used to post here?

Tommy would come on right around TOURNAMENT time and cheer lead every year.

That's vaguely familiar. I believe I remember him but haven't thought about that guy in years.

I went back into the Wayback Machine and found an old thread. Some members that are still here post in this. There's crazzed, too. The topic of conversation is "Are we spoiled?" The team was 23-1.

Yes he sure did. I actually became friends with Tommy, he was a musician and had a studio in Lexington, would do live shows around the Lexington area. I lost his contact information, haven't seen him since the site went down, not even sure if he's alive any more.

Tommy was good people. When it came to UK basketball, no negative from Tommy no matter what lol lol..
