Here we come to another huge week for the Cats. Texas A&M comes into Rupp tonight without its best player, but they've acquited themselves pretty well without him. Still, Wade Taylor is a Cat killer from way back, so not having him out there should be a pretty big advantage for Kentucky. However Kentucky may be without Andrew Carr, which would be monumental because Texas A&M is a pretty incredible rebounding team. The assault is led by Solomon Washington, but Henry Coleman--who I swear played against Kenny Walker--is also somehow still there and is very hard to handle on the glass. If Kentucky rebounds like they have at times this season, they will lose this game.

The game is at 7:00 on ESPN2.

Great opportunity lies ahead. I think Carr plays but we’ll see how he’s able to temper himself against worsening his situation…such that he has to miss time. Hoping for Jaxson to build on his performance and to continue to see this team fight to have a chance at winning this conference.

6’9 250 and is a load around the basket.

Avg about 9 points and 5 rebounds a game. Kind of player that can cause problems for us.

My wife is an Aggie so this is typically a game I don't look forward to.
Taylor has been so tough against UK but he is hurt so he may be out for this game. Their defense is good and they average holding teams in the mid 60's. That won't happen tonight, but I expect a physical game so anxious to see how Kentucky responds. Texas A&M is number one on hitting the offensive boards and this is a big weakness for Kentucky.
I think the home crowd will be rocking and will help pull the CATS to victory. 90-83.

Good news, game is at Rupp. I have noticed this years home crowd seems to be rocking a little more than years past. Instead of all the couch coaches sitting there analyzing each and every one of Cal's moves, the crowd is actually into the game and blowing the ice off the roof.....
