This is still breaking and I haven't seen a link, but the D1 rules committee has suggested quite a few rules changes, almost all of which are surely to go in next year.
Shot clock will be moved down to 30.
Timeouts will go from 5 to 4, with no more than 3 allowed to be carried over to the second half.
The coach will no longer be allowed to call a "bail-out" timeout to save a possession.
Closely guarded 5-second call will be removed.
If a timeout is called 30 seconds or less before a TV timeout, that timeout becomes the TV timeout.
Dunking will now be allowed in warm-ups.
Floppers will be assessed technical fouls, as the rules stipulate.
All very good and necessary changes.
