I have had a very heavy heart for some time about kynut. I shared this PM he sent me on April 8th with the Admins and Mods, and he states his Love for this site and it's members. I will be sending a condolence card to his family in WCN's name. Here is his last post.

Some things are happening with me that I wanted you to know about just in case I totally disappear from the site one of these days and I didn't want it spread throughout the site to just anyone. You may or (may not have) noticed I haven't been on the site much lately........mainly because of four - 3-5 day hospital stays for blood transfusions. I entered hospice care yesterday. Prognosis is 2-6 months and there are no treatment options with any chance of success.

Anyway, I wanted you to pass on my gratitude for the friendships I have found in this forum. Guys like you and Rick, and Will Lavender, the two Matt's have come to mean a lot to me and have brightened many of this old man's days. I humbly thank all of you.

      Love all of you.

He was a great UK fan and an even better man. It's always a hard thing to lose someone who contributed to this site like he did. Although I have never met anyone here I consider everyone a friend and losing a friend is a very hard thing. He mentioned many times wanting to see UK get over the top in football just one time before his life was over. He had great hopes for Stoops to do just that. Unfortunately this didn't happen. I really hope UK can have a great 2015 season just for his memory. A great fan and very good man will missed by all. My prayers and thoughts go out to the McPeek family.
        Kentucky fan since 1971.

saying goodbye is always hard. I am one that believes that life goes on after the body doesn't....but those of us still here will miss those great posts and thoughts.
Gods peace to all friends and family

It's especially hard to lose one of our own. I enjoyed reading his thoughts and having his presence on the site, as I do all of our members. Also loved hearing about his happy life with Miss Dolly, the geese, their gardens and all things beautiful about where he lived. RIP, kynut. You are missed.

Have found myself thinking about kynut quite a bit the last couple of days. One thing I remember him posting was how he'd have to drive up to a remote mountain location to get Cawood calling the Cats on 840.

The site certainly won't be the same.

Just recalled that kynut gave me my avatar, lol.

Goodness gracious that was just a few months back. Crap.

Really enjoyed posting with KY Nut. Will miss him greatly.Love how this site gives us an extended family that we can laugh, love and even argue our points with each other. It is my pleasure to say that I had a chance to share in the brief moments that made up his life here on earth and believe he takes a piece of us all to the hereafter. Love you KY Nut and will miss you a bunch.

Just to let you all know i also love each and every one here on this site. Thank you for sharing small pieces of you heart and soul here in the World Wide Web. Take care all and look forward to seeing you all on my desktop.

It is crazy to think that I have "known" some of the people on here for 15 years or so going back to the WCF days.

Wish nothing but health and happiness to everyone here.

I typically try to be Mr. Non-Emotional, but do you all remember our last WCF thread on the site before ISIS ambushed us? It was beautiful. As said above, this has been a special experience here on WCN and I don't take it for granted, not even for a second. Much love and peace to all of you.

This coming January will make 10 years, a DECADE, for me. It's surreal to say the least.

I will miss Kynut's posts. He was a long time follower of UK basketball and went back even further than I did and that is a long time. His posts almost always brought a smile to my face. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will certainly be missed.
