Seriously think he’s very limited and causes a lot of offensive flow issues. Sure he gets boards and some points but he’s a clogger in the game/lane. I would take him but ok if he leaves

This is definitely one of those games that, after it's over, you have the distinct feeling we should have won.

I didn’t think Toppin had a terrible game. Didn’t score but we didn’t use him much offensively. Frustrated the heck out of an elite college player.

          Okay. Two things.

On the bright side, Toppin has free time to go film more ATT commercials.

You’re insane, btw. Oscar is a guaranteed double-double and gets his team an extra eight possessions or so per game. You think that’s replaceable? Spend a summer focusing on defense, get him to a serviceable level in that department, and he’s a NPOY candidate again.

And Toppin? Borderline elite stretch to end the season. But yeah, Ratt wants to ditch that, too.

Oscar Tshiebwe has one of the greatest careers in modern college basketball history, puts up 25 and 18 in an NCAA Tournament game, only to have Internet Guy tell him to GTFO. Sweet.

In the end our lack of a true point guard and Jacob Toppins inconsistent play was a back breaker. The fact that we only had one consistent outside shooter all season bit us as well, Reeves was bound to have an off night and there was nobody to pick up the slack.Shout out to Livingston for a stand out game. I also can't help but notice when we played the really good teams like UCLA KU AND today they all had guys step up and make big shots at.critical times. We haven't really had that in about 3 years. The best team won today, another year of bowing out in first weekend.

Disappointed, but not upset. A few weeks ago was wondering if they would make the NIT. Not their year. Was a time I would lose sleep replaying the game and do a ton of ifs and buts. Not anymore. Good luck to the SEC teams left. Except UT. I’m old school. Just can’t do it. Might try to catch a baseball or softball game 🙂

The sequence where Cason was fouled but they didn't call it when he drove to the basket, then they immediately gave KState two free throws on an obvious foul on a pass was an absolute killer. Cason would've been going to the line for two shots with UK up oUK with 3:20 left.

But Reeves being ice cold, Toppin not scoring hardly at all, and turnovers were also a killer.

Up 4 with 4 minutes to play in the tournament and lose again.

It looked like one of the refs tried to overrule that call and the one guy said, “No, two shots.” If my lip reading skills are on point.

He did. Because he’s so good at his job.

Matt Jones speculates that Reeves could return.

We’re all mad at him now but having that guy back would be massive.
