You’re insane, btw. Oscar is a guaranteed double-double and gets his team an extra eight possessions or so per game. You think that’s replaceable? Spend a summer focusing on defense, get him to a serviceable level in that department, and he’s a NPOY candidate again.

And Toppin? Borderline elite stretch to end the season. But yeah, Ratt wants to ditch that, too.

Agreed and I stand firm, you just don't know what your going get out of a freshman especially if the rankings are fudged. From Skal to a few others, I have seen that show before, Oscar still can get better and still get paid at Kentucky, why not right?

Yes and it would not hurt my feelings if the entire starting 5 returned with the incoming class, field a 2015 team again. We have the money, we can buy a Championship

This is usually my saddest Sports Day of the year (end of UK bball). Hits different this year because it was the first season my son REALLY got into it, and he's especially torn up right now. Probably the equivalent of the Villanova loss in '88 for me. So I'm sad. But I also never really felt like this team would make a serious run in this tournament, so that takes a little of the sting out of it.

I've read this whole thread, and anything I would have wanted to say has already been said. I will say that I don't think bad calls had anything to do with the loss. We benefited from just as many as went against us, probably not one as obvious, though, as the "shooting foul", so of course that's gonna be a talking point.

Final thing I'll add: this was a game where I would have left some dudes in despite having two fouls. I truly felt like we were about to open up on them a bit in the first half, just prior to going ti a lineup that I'm not sure had played together once all season.

What?? All our kids played they're butts off and hustled. Nobody is more upset about they're play than Toppin and Reeves. They showed up, but shots weren't falling.
