Yep I posted this on the SEC tournament thread. I'm sure Vandy is out of gas but it's amazing what happens when you actually play good defense, as opposed to whatever UK does.

There are several saying the same thing. Will has pointed out that Xalipari, for all the "dribble drive offense" talk, has had his best teams keying on defense.

This particular team would have been better put to learn one or two zones, especially with the problems the best offensive player has in man up defense.

Me and most of my group made the trip. My friend and I checked out this morning. Still hung around for a while. The rest of my group stayed. Still had a fun 48 hours. Hung with Arkansas fans yesterday. They were amazed at how many UK fans showed up. Blue mist had quite the showing. It was fun til it wasn’t

I've wondered about this.

I would think he'd get a call if Cal left this season but he's gone several years where he's done nothing in the tournament. There's a lot of first-round exits on that guy's resume.

Just my opinion and probably not a popular one but there are three SEC coaches I wouldn’t mind becoming our coach. Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Missouri. Probably never happen but weird things happen in the sports world.

Jerry Stackhouse has never coached in an NCAA Tournament game. Dennis Gates has coached in one. Surely Kentucky could do better than that when the time came.

Going back to Shaka Smart, there's a decent chance that Kentucky could play Marquette in this tournament.

I can easily see them as the 2 and us as the 7 in the East.
