Right now I would take the guy at Missouri. Like the way the team plays and like his demeanor

In my opinion, anyone who thinks coach Pitino is washed up is badly mistaken. When he moves up, after this season, we'll see.

Maybe not washed up, but certainly too old to be taking the reigns of a power like Kentucky. He's what, 75?

            He’s 70. Calipari is 64.

              The point remains. Too old.

And after his embarrassing stint at Louisville, I'm not sure why any self-respecting Kentucky fan would want him anywhere around our program anyway.

True, and I sure don't want him. But with the downward trend of our beloved program, fans are so fed up we're looking everywhere for anybody who bring us back. Stubborn Cal is done.
Cal doesn't like the SEC tournament and is insensitive to all the UK fans who spend their money to support our team better than any other team. Selfish and stubborn!!!

Kentucky’s going to have to find a new coach that is no older than Calipari when we hired him. Early 50’s at most. JVC has aged 25 years in the 14 years he’s been here.

He famously despises the SEC tournament, but when the ball is tipped he's just as competitive in those games as he ever was. Let's not forget that he has won more SEC tournaments (6) than almost any other team, even though he hates them. With that said, his record in the SEC tournament (and overall) in the past three years is Not Good. Washed, I believe the kids say.

That’s a polite way of phrasing it.

Cal has always said he hates the tournament, but the guy dominated it for the first few years. Not so much lately, which is symbolic of our program as a whole.

That game last night reminded me of St. Peter's. We actually had a defensive gameplan to start: we were backing up off their drivers, giving a lot of berth, and Vandy began the game confused. When they hit two or three threes our gameplan immediately changed and that's when those driving lanes opened up.

Should have stuck with that sloughing defense up top. One throughline of Cal's tenure is that he seems to panic as the game is going on--the only evidence you need for that is how tight the team tends to play late in games and how those free throws start to find the rim. That's a constant for virtually all of Cal's teams in March.

In the first game last night Buzz Williams saw that Arkansas was winning the paint and he went zone. It changed the game. TAMU just flat took it over. In our game we had no answer for what Vandy was doing...which is weird because they were doing the very same thing last week in Rupp. A good coach learns.

I'll be honest, I was irritated mad as heck last night and sipped a little too much bourbon 😆 🤣 😂

I will always be a Pitino fan on the court but at age 70, I agree he's not the answer. The fact we missed free-throws and shot poorly doomed us...

Will try to get myself psyched up one more game but afraid this team is going to lay another egg...

We shot well enough to win.

Can't give up 80 in the postseason and think you're going to win. This team has never bought into or understood what its defensive identity is.

Don't do that to yourself. This team is DOA.
