I hit 6 threes in a high school game once. I have full eligibility left. I don't see any downsides really.

Personally I would like to have Oscar, Toppin, Ware, Collins, Fredrick and Sharpe back. I want no more of what Brooks or Wheeler bring! Last night when they were both on the floor, losing was in my thought process, especially when Toppin was 3-3 FG and 3-4 FT's was on the bench. Cal has never been a bench coach and it may be time for him to move on. Does he tie the hands of his staff during games? He certainly has some good coaches but what do they do during games? Have we ever seen him ask them anything?

If Cal should leave, every coach at every school would be a candidate because the Kentucky job is the top job in the country. One coach I would like to be considered is Coach Barnes.

Barnes is great, but he’s getting up there, and as good as he is in the regular season he has no tournament success to speak of. Guy’s a world-class choke artist.

All the UT fans laughing at us right now should be very nervous about their own group. Best they’ve had in forever and I guarantee they’ll still flame out.

This is a good point actually and one I've thought about.

The answer to this is never. He never seems to acknowledge them much. Which fits with what we know about Cal.

I love Barnes as an X's and O's coach. Not so much in terms of his personality.

How much that matters is debatable. But I think it does to an extent. (Though Brad Stevens is not exactly Pat Riley.)

I do think Barnes is among the best in terms of the strategy of the game. However it has to be said that Barnes has also had some incredible talent and has really screwed up with it during his career.

67 year old Rick Barnes who made one Final Four in 2003? Pass.

The problem with the coaching pool right now is that all of the truly valid candidates (Few, Wright, etc.) are NOT coming here. Ever. And they're also getting old. Barnhart would never even consider Bruce Pearl.

Scott Drew is the only legit candidate that I could imagine taking the job.

We are all looking for the perfect Coach, and we thought we had one when Cal arrived. Now we realize even he has faults. Whoever follows Cal won't be perfect either.
