Honestly, I'm strangely at peace. We saw this team trending down for the last month, so at least it happened now and not when they get far enough to get our hopes back up.

In the grand scheme of things, this remains a game. A game that we all love and a game that brings us together and a game that provides memories and heartbreak equally... but in the end it remains a bunch of kids throwing a ball in a hoop.

Posts like this work as a reminder of that. Condolences to you and yours.

No, I actually know what you mean. I’m pissed, but I haven’t had much confidence in this group for the last couple weeks. I didn’t expect this, but a disappointing loss felt inevitable.

I thought something was pretty wrong in Tampa but thought they might be able to shake it in this tournament.

Just generally though I’ve been concerned with the defense virtually all year.
