And this is just my opinion but I think we played better basketball in December and January

If he plays next year and we have the team we’re supposed to have, I can let it go. But this team is probably a missing piece away from a title and to potentially not play him and let him bolt to the NBA without playing a game here would be a massive screw up that I’m not sure fans would forgive.

That’s where I’m at, minus the inability to forgive. I know some wouldn’t get over it, but I’m not THAT caught up.

Still, I’ve felt for months like we’ve needed two things: more shot blocking, and another player who can create his own shot. Collins obviously isn’t going to blossom in time to satisfy the first need, but the second has been on the bench since NYE.

Like you said, if he doesn’t play next year, I’m not sure it’ll be unforgivable, but it’ll be inexcusable.

I think fans wouldn’t let it go for the rest of Cal’s time here.

Something's not right. What happened? Collins not a good chemistry? I'm guessing. But the chemistry has changed, and not due to the injuries. Or is Collins ready to go, and...

I'm that way about Pitino not playing Andersen in the final game against AZ.

I read in stat sheet where when Grady was in, UK was down by 16 points. The worst on the team. Mintz was the best with a plus 9 over Tennessee the minutes he played. With Oscar in, Tennessee was up plus 7. With Brooks in UK was plus 1 as well. I know these stats dont tell the whole story but just found it very interesting.

He’s just way behind. Gobs of natural talent, but he hasn’t been playing the game all that long and he’s maybe as strong as a toddler. If he sticks around and puts in the work, he could be a very interesting sophomore.

This year, though? He’s just not ready.

What happened to Hopkins playing time? Probably would not have been worse than some others today.

Cal said he wasn’t worried about Grady’s shooting or the teams shooting?? I guess he couldn’t come out and say he was worried 😟
