Mike Bray bragging he was 3-1 against Carolina and Duke this year and that he has received some very encouraging text in regards to beating Kentucky. Says tonight that AMERICA'S team will be taking the court to face off against the Wildcats.
I hope our coach and guys are reading this ****. The media has isolated our Cats into a "us against the world" mentality which is stupid if most are really wanting us to fall.........Comment

WVU is deeper than ND and we wore them out. I see no reason why that won't be the case tonight. We have got to keep Grant from penetrating and looking for kick outs. Keep playing the way we have been and there is no worries.Isaiah 5:20Comment

The thought about match-ups goes both ways. ND has a huge problem matching up with us. They have one good Big, where we have a bunch. Our guards are bigger and quick. and will drive like crazy, AND we have Trey Lyles. I think they have a much bigger match-up problem than we do.John 3:3

Notre Dame will have their runs. They shoot too well not to. I think this particular Kentucky team will not, as Coach Brey kind of put it...have their hearts taken out.

Kentucky let Notre Dame have too many inside baskets. Uncharacteristic for this team. This is an instance where we almost beat ourselves. Notre Dame practically made their living inside the paint.
20 of Notre Dame's 26 baskets were layups. We can't do that on the inside again, not when inside defense has been our bread and butter................Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

It was very similar to the Georgia game. They ripped us up on those pick and roll actions. But the Auguste guy also just outworked us--similar to Georgia's Djurisic.
The crazy thing is that Kentucky played a very efficient final 10 minutes. But Notre Dame stalled like mad and almost made it to the finish line before we could overtake them.
Wisconsin is a similar team in that they're insanely offensively efficient, but they're not going to put Kentucky into those pick and rolls I don't think. They do a lot of isolation stuff and one-on-ones with Kaminsky and Dekker.
The problem is that Wisconsin has better players.Comment
